Terms of Use

What you may and may not do with the content on this site. For the general agreement covering liability and governing law, see our Terms and Conditions.

Everything published on Yard Wise Pro — text, structure, comparison tables, specification summaries, charts, graphics, layout and code — is owned by us or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Permitted use

You may use this site freely for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Specifically, you may:

  • Read, browse and search any page.
  • Print or save a page for your own reference — for instance, taking a maintenance guide out to the garage.
  • Share a link to any page anywhere, including on social platforms and in forums. Links are always welcome and never need permission.
  • Quote a short passage — a sentence or two — in a review, article, forum post or discussion, provided you credit Yard Wise Pro and link to the page you took it from.

Prohibited use

Without our prior written permission, you may not:

  • Reproduce content — republish, copy, mirror or redistribute any article, guide, comparison table or substantial portion of a page, in whole or in part, on any website, application, newsletter, printed publication or other medium.
  • Use content commercially — incorporate our text, tables, charts or graphics into any product, service, advertisement, training material or resale offering, whether or not you charge for it.
  • Scrape or access automatically — use crawlers, scrapers, spiders, harvesting scripts or any other automated means to extract content or data from this site, including for the purpose of training or fine-tuning machine learning or generative AI systems.
  • Create derivative works — rewrite, translate, spin, summarise or adapt our content for republication elsewhere, including using automated rewriting tools.
  • Remove attribution — strip out or obscure copyright notices, credits, disclosures or source attributions.
  • Misrepresent the relationship — frame our pages inside your own site, imply endorsement, sponsorship or partnership that does not exist, or present our content as your own.
  • Interfere with operation — attempt unauthorised access, probe for vulnerabilities, introduce malicious code, or place an unreasonable load on our servers.

Want to use something?

Ask. We grant permission more often than you would expect, particularly for educational use, non-commercial community projects and equipment-service training. Email hello@yardwisepro.com with the subject “Content Permission”, describing what you want to use and where it will appear.

Trademarks

“Yard Wise Pro”, our logo and our visual identity are our marks and may not be used without written permission. Manufacturer names, model names, product names and logos referenced on this site are the property of their respective owners and appear here for identification and editorial commentary only, under nominative fair use. Their appearance does not imply affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement in either direction.

Copyright complaints (DMCA)

We respect intellectual property and expect the same in return. If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, send a notice to hello@yardwisepro.com with the subject “DMCA”, including:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
  • The exact URL on this site where the material appears.
  • Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

We investigate every valid notice promptly and remove or disable access to material that is found to infringe. If you believe your material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address.

If you find our content republished elsewhere without permission, we would genuinely like to know — send the URL to the same address.

Enforcement and changes

We may restrict or block access to anyone who breaches these terms, and we reserve all remedies available under law. These Terms of Use may be revised at any time; the version published on this page is the version in effect. They are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, as set out in our Terms and Conditions.
